Saint Patrick's Day

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, we decided to go mountain biking in Moab, Utah. Okay, so it had nothing to do with it being St. Patrick's Day--that was just a coincidence.
Chris and I drove down to Moab with Carson, Adam, and Keith from the Mad Dog Cycles Team to get some mountain bike riding in. The weather called for snow and rain, so I was a bit nervous. It was great weather considering. Meteorologist have the best job ever. There is no accountability at all. They can be more wrong than right and no one cares. Any other job and they would be fired by the second week of being completely clueless. Their mistake was a blessing though.
Seeing as we were in Moab, we had to do Sovreign, or as Carson calls it Chris' Trail. It was a blast. Adam, of course, had a mechanical and missed out on the fun section again. He has bad karma on that trail. His break pads wore to the metal at the turn around and had to take the road back. What a shame! Once again no pictures of the trail because when you have that much fun, you don't stop for a photo.
We also did Gemini Bridges. That was more fun than we expected and filled Adam's need for dirt roads. Most of the time when we do Gemini, we go at a leisurely pace. Come to find out, it is more fun fast. The view makes it all worth it everytime though.
