in the mean time

I am stilling waiting for parts to come in. So in the mean time, I have been riding. The weather has been cooperating this week which has been ideal.
I have realized that I don't understand joggers. Part of me, way in the back can understand why they run. It is simple really. They simply don't understand. They run because they are ignorant to the joy of riding. But what I don't get is why they would choose to run on the road when there is a sidewalk right there...a perfectly good, safe sidewalk. Instead they are running in the bike lane or just the shoulder. Why? I try to get as far away from traffic as possible. It simply does not make sense.
