nebo loop

I wasn't sure if I was going to start or end with this, but chris thought it was significant and I should share it. I have decided to put it first and end on pleasantries.
Here is some advice: if you are going to get it on in a car, take the time to ensure cars and cyclists can not see. In the case of the tender moment shared between two individuals yesterday it would have been as easy as parking the other direction. Granted you were down in a gully of sorts, but you were not that far off the road. It would have only taken an additional second or two.
Okay, now for the good stuff. In celebration of pioneer day, we got up this morning and road the nebo loop. Keith came down and we left around 5:40 this morning. The weather was ideal waffeling between a little chilly to a little warm. This is a spectacular 80 mile ride from spanish fork with majestic views especially when the air quality is good. Today's air quality was not so good, so utah county was a bit fuzzy. We went at a pretty easy pace finishing "round about" five hours. This ride seems to climb forever, but is far worth the effort.
I was also very impressed with traffic. There wasn't much but the majority of the drivers gave us plenty of room. It was crazy to see cars and trucks getting completely into the opposite lane even though we were single file. It was a great ride!
