it got warm for two days...really warm. it was great....and then it snowed and snowed and snowed. now it is cold again. chris is into this snow riding thing lately. so we took our mountain bikes up the canyon with Tex (our dog). the plan was to do a mountain ride, but we stuck to the paved trail because it was pretty deep and enough of a challenge. we were lucky that a vehicle had driven up there earlier so we could ride some. there was probably close to a foot of snow which makes it very difficult to ride. i had a good time until my cleats got caked with ice and i could not get into my pedals. nothing frustrates me more than not being able to ride what i know i am able to ride. here is the after math:
