while down south, we spent the holiday weekend with chris' family. we rode out at gooseberry mesa. chris and i rode our single speeds to let his parents borrow our geared bikes. the six of us split up with some riding the road to the look out while the rest of us took the south rim trails. it was so fun on a single speed. it was an absolute blast.
we then went out to the race course and rode that. it was super windy and my legs were spent by then. it was great in spite of my fatigue and the wind. i am looking forward to our next single speed trip!
