We are beginning to assess the damage. It is not looking good especially for Chris. His prize money and then some is pretty much spent. As an example, here is where a brake pad once resided. Amazingly it stayed in place after wearing thru the spring.

Sweet. I just took pretty much the same picture from one of my front pads. That was nasty. Congrats to Chris on some solid riding.
wow that's just crazy. Jed and I have been following all the race blogs and we can't believe how hard it was on people's bikes. I still haven't talked to you about this race in person! I want to hear all about it. Hopefully you can get it all working smooth for cholla! And I got your message about the trails in moab, sorry I haven't called you back! I forgot to talk to you about it at ladies night, heck this message is so long I might as well just have called you! :) but it's late, :)
